  • Information on the string figure
  • This string figure refers to a person (called Vivilua).
    1. Opening A. Twist 2 loops anticlockwise.
    2. Proximally, insert 1 into 2 loops and return.Distally, insert 2 into their own loops and pick up 2f. Distally, insert 2 into 5 loops, hook up 5n and return.
Release distal 1 loops and 5 loops.
    3. Proximally, insert 1 and 5 into distal 2 loops and return. Release distal 2 loops.
    7. Caroline extension.
    8. Release 1 and extend. Pass 1 distal to proximal 2 loops. Proximally, insert 1 into 5 loops, pick up 5n then distal 2f and return. Release distal 2 loops. Caroline extension
    9. Release 5 gently. Proximally, insert 5 into distal 2 loops, pick up distal 2f and return. Release distal 2 loops.Caroline extension
    10. Repeat step 7 and 8.
    11. Repeat stept 8
    12. Repeat stept 8
    13. Release 1 gently. Insert them away from you into the triangles near 1.1 hook down distal 2n and proximal 2 loops, then pick up 5f and return. Release 5.
    14. Transfer distal 2 loops to 5. Transfer 1 loops to 2.
    15. Proximally, insert 1 into proximal and distal 2 loops, pick up distal 2n only and return to position. Release 2 loops. Transfer 1 loops to 2. Pass 1 proximal to 2 loops. Proximally, insert 1 into 5 loops, pick up 5n and 2f only, and return to position. Release 2 loops. Caroline extension.
