- Information on the string figure
This figure represents a LAAPANG, the fruit of Harrisia bonplandii cactus, also kwonn as "reina de la noche" in the regional spanish. This cactus endemic to the dry forests of the Chaco owes its name to its spectacular flowers that only open at night. The raw fruit of this abundant plant and the boiled, roasted or baked tuberous roots are appreciated food.
1. Loops lay in both wirts
2. H rotate 360° anticlockwise while 1 pass Wf distally and pic kit up.
3. Palms toward you, 5 pick up the upper palmar string.
4. Alternatively, each 2 picks up the dorsal string of the opposite hand. Extend.
5. Distally, insert R1 and R2 in L2 loop, seize L1f, release L1 loop and insert it in L2 loop. Distally reinsert L1 in the seized loop.
6. Do the same for opposite hand.
7. Release 2 and extend.
