This tridimensional string figure CHITETAJ reprensents a dry river bed. In most part of arid the paraguayan Chaco there is no permanent river. No obsanttly, the dry beds of temporary streams are a common element of the arid chaquean landscape. They are also very important places where it is possible to find water after the rain.
