- Information on the string figure
The tridimensional final figure is called PÔTSEJ LHUUP, Jabiru mycteria’s nest. It represents the huge nest of this big american stork at the top of large tree. These birds build their nests of sticks and branches on tall trees at the end of the southern winter and enlarge them every year. As a result, these nests can reach a depth of almost 2 m per 1 m wide. These massive structures are therefore a characteristic feature of the Chaco landscape.
1. Opening A
2. Proximally, insert 1345 into 2 loops.
3. Transfer 2 loops to the wrists
4. Pass the mouth away from you through the little triangle made by Wn and 1f. With the teeth, seize 5f and return.
5. Release 5
6. Distally, insert 5 into the teeth loop and transfer this loop to 5. Return to position.
7. Pass the mouth distal to W and 1 loops, insert it in the big triangle formed by 5 loops. With the teeth seize 1n at the bottom vertex of this triangle and return.
8. Release 1.
9. Proximally, insert 1 in the teeth loop and transfer the loop to 1 and return.
10. Distally, insert R2 and R3 into L1 loop and L5 loop respectively. Pick up L1f and L5n and return.
11. Distally, insert L2 and L3 into R2 and R3 loops respectively, pick up R1f and R5n and return.
12. Pass R2 away from you proximal to L2 and L3 loops. Distally, insert R2 into L5 loop, hook up L5n and return.
Transfer distal R2 loop to R1
13. Pass R2 towards you proximal to L2 and L3 loops. Distally, insert R2 into L1 loop, hook up L1f and return.
Transfer distal R2 loop to L5.
14. Repeat on the right hand.
15. Distally, insert R2 and R3 into L2 loop and L3 loop respectively. Pick up L1f and L5n and return. Release L1235.
16. Transfer the double R2 and R3 distal loops to L1 and L5 respectively.
17. Repeat on the right hand.
18. Extend.

Transfer distal R2 loop to R1
13. Pass R2 towards you proximal to L2 and L3 loops. Distally, insert R2 into L1 loop, hook up L1f and return.
Transfer distal R2 loop to L5.
14. Repeat on the right hand.
15. Distally, insert R2 and R3 into L2 loop and L3 loop respectively. Pick up L1f and L5n and return. Release L1235.
16. Transfer the double R2 and R3 distal loops to L1 and L5 respectively.
17. Repeat on the right hand.
18. Extend.
